The home was
built in 1999 and meets Florida's stringent building codes. It is
approved by the City of Marathon and "grandfathered-in". No new
floating homes are allowed in the city.

The hull is
constructed of 3/4" plywood covered with fiberglass and epoxy. The
hull structure consists of engineered trusses, 2 foot on center to
ensure stability and increased strength. You'll find all the
features of your normal condo or land built home -
A large kitchen with plenty of cupboard space and
full size appliances, Living and Dining areas, Large bedroom with
walk-in closet and rear deck on the water. Sunset Dance has it's
own washer/dryer area as well as home office off the master
bedroom. The two full baths feature full-size bathtubs/showers
with a holding tank with macerator pump or it can be hooked
directly to a sewer system. The entire home is serviced by a
central air conditioning/ heating system. 16 foot cathedral
ceilings add an air of spaciousness!

The exterior
is cedar lap siding with a Key West Style metal roof that covers
both the front and rear decks. The beveled glass sidelights set
off the front entrance French Doors. Bahama shutters offer storm
protection and relief from the heat as well as
privacy.

Interior
floors in the living and dining areas are Wood laminate (Pergo)
while most other areas are ceramic tile. The home is fully wired
inside for Cable and an alarm system.

And when
company comes.........the upper loft provides all the room you
need. It contains a queen size bed as well as Queen size sleeper
sofa and plenty of room to move around! Additional loft and hull
compartments provide more storage than most homes or
condos!
